Katherine Carrillo
I’m a writer from Queens, New York. My work moves between observation and introspection, exploring the world around me—from the pressures of growing up in the age of social media, to the echoes of history and culture that shape us, to the hidden traumas embedded in our daily lives. After graduating from Pace University, I began working in the gallery world, where the people, art, and stories I encountered continue to shape my perspective. In 2021, I self-published my first poetry collection, A Fire Inside Her. Here, I write about creativity, society, and the moments where they collide.
